(DANVILLE, IN) – Hendricks Regional Health has been named to the inaugural Forbes Top Hospitals by State 2026 list, recognizing the organization as one of Indiana’s highest-performing hospitals. Hendricks is also the only hospital in Indiana to earn Forbes’ highest rating across every area evaluated, setting it apart from hospitals statewide.
The Forbes Top Hospitals by State list is based on the organization’s national hospital ratings and recognizes top-performing hospitals using quality and performance measures from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). According to Forbes, the methodology incorporates 56 healthcare quality measures and assesses the factors that matter most to patients when choosing and receiving care: outcomes, safety best practices, value, and overall patient experience.

The Forbes Top Hospitals by State list recognizes approximately the top 30% of eligible hospitals in each state and includes hospitals that achieved the highest overall performance ratings nationwide.
