  1. Eat reasonable portions, which is often eating less than you are served, especially when eating out.
  2. Make eating vegetables enjoyable. Try roasting and grilling veggies.
  3. Try one meatless meal per week.
  4. Replace sweetened beverages with unsweetened options. Try sparkling water or unsweetened tea with fresh lemon, lime, or berries for added flavor.
  5. Put down the salt shaker. Use pepper, flavored vinegars, or fresh lemon for added seasoning.
